Affordable Openings Team Development Day 2022
It’s part of the Affordable Openings philosophy to support the professional growth of all of our team members to ensure they develop their knowledge and training in the garage door industry. In an effort to support this, we took our entire team to Gliderol Garage Doors in Sydney for a training and development day.
Led by Maurice, Aldijana & Manuel, our teams got the opportunity to see how garage doors are made, all the processes behind the manufacture of them and were given the chance to meet many key people at Gliderol.
This development day proved to be beneficial for every team member in all of our sections.
Our customer service team is encouraged and supported to seek out knowledge of all the products and brands, including how a garage door and automatic opener works, basic diagnostics and how to identify common issues over the phone. This is another key way in which we give our customers a very high level of service.
The orders and quoting team got the chance to meet the Gliderol teams they communicate with regularly, allowing our team to develop a stronger, more personal relationship with Gliderol.
The service team had the opportunity to learn and discuss matters relating to Gliderol garage door installation, common issues they run into while installing and were also able to ask any further questions they may have.
We have always held our strong supplier relationships in high regard and are focused on building them, as we have been throughout the past 30+ years in the business.
We wanted to thank Gliderol Garage Doors for hosting the entire Affordable Openings Team, providing us with lunch and letting our teams pick your brains, allowing us to learn and discuss. We hope our service will be better for it and that our teams had the chance to grow in their roles.
